Russell Crowe
He appeared in Hollywood out of nowhere. In just a short period of time, he became the most attractive actor. He received the Oscar for Best Actor for his role in Gladiator. He had two opportunities to get married, but only went through it once. Russell Crowe, a man whose roles as a hero full of testosterone make him irresistible in private life. Russell Crowe was born on April 7, 1964 in Wellington, New Zealand. He was born under the sign of virile Aries, where his ascendant is also found. His Moon is located in the sign of sociable Aquarius. Energetic Mars, ruler of his horoscope and of his sign, as well as Jupiter, planet of happiness, are also found in the sign of bellicose Aries, high in the sky. The Moon, symbol of popularity, is located in the house of reputation and career (10th). For their part, eccentric Uranus and explosive Pluto are in the house of love, art, and parties (5th). All this indicates a truly macho disposition, a phenomenal courage, a determination that eliminates everything in its path as well as a weakness for risk and challenges. In other terms, Russell Crowe is a man who quickly explodes and comes to blows in conflict situations. What’s more, the placement of the stars at the time of his birth reveals that his popularity was inevitable, particularly with women, who see him as a true alpha male. Thus it was not by chance that Russell Crowe received an Oscar in 2000 for his interpretation of such a person, a Roman gladiator. Nevertheless, he would then profit from the support of the stars, when Jupiter transited his house of self (1st) at the beginning of 2000 and activated his natal Jupiter. Without a doubt, his decision to become an actor was one of the best choices that he made during his entire life, whether consciously or not. In fact, film is the only way for him to live his volcanic nature while staying within the limits of the acceptable. His biography reveals that throughout his life, he was drawn towards the profession of acting. His parents are both employed in the film industry. Thus little Russell spent a lot of time in film and television studios. The natural result of all this would be his first appearance in the television series Spyforce at the age of six. Six years later, he returned in the television series The Young Doctors. At the same time, Jupiter, planet of happiness, traversed his sign and crossed his Ascendant, announcing the beginning of a new cycle in his existence. At sixteen years old, Russell Crowe took on the nickname “Russ le Roq” and played his first single: I want to be like Marlon Brando. This would later cause journalists who had studied his biography to ask him if the song title was chosen by chance or if young Russell had the premonition that film critics would one day call him that, Marlon Brando’s successor. Considering this, it is interesting to note that Marlon Brando and Russell Crowe are born under the same sign, that of virile Aries. Russell Crowe’s rock band did not enjoy any notable success. Their songs mostly stayed at the bottom of the charts. Sufficiently self-critical and gifted with an ego that is never satisfied with anything less than being the best, when his mother asked if he was hiding behind the nickname “Russ le Roq” because he was ashamed of his name, he responded: “Have you heard our songs? When I do something decent, I will do it under my real name.”
Aside from their built-up ego, Arians are people who love to assert themselves and flirt with danger. This is even more prominent in Russell Crowe due to the concentration of planets in the sign of Aries at the time of his birth. This explains his excessive love of cars and speed. His Moon, indicator of feelings, located in the sign of non-conformist Aquarius, indicates a man for whom the past, tradition, and conventions mean nothing. Harmonious relationships between Mercury, planet of communication, and freedom-loving Uranus, reinforce his adventurous and turbulent spirit, making him simple and direct in communication with others. Jupiter, ruler of his house of foreign lands (9th), located in the house of self (1st), indicates a cosmopolitan spirit and a man who would travel throughout his life. He would say the same one day: “I am a man without a homeland. When I was fourteen years old, I had already lived in two countries and ten different towns. It was only just recently that I bought my parents their first house.”
Between the ages of 22 and 24, Russell Crowe worked in a touring theatre that traveled extensively through Australia and New Zealand. However, waiting for his moment of glory, he worked as a waiter, public entertainer, disc-jockey and bingo caller. He had his first role in the film Blood Oath and experienced his first success with The Crossing in 1990. The film Romper Stomper brought him lots of money and fame in 1992. This is probably not by chance. In fact, that year Jupiter went through his house of work while unpredictable Uranus and seductive Neptune transited his house of reputation and career (10th). People say that Sharon Stone introduced him to American film in 1994, thanks to his role in The Quick and the Dead. While making the Gladiator movie, a film that would bring him an Oscar and international fame, Russell Crowe did not stop filming despite broken ribs and bruises, as a true Arian conscious of his honor. Before the 2000 Oscar awards ceremony, while entering the hall on the red carpet, he pulled out of his pocket a silver cross that the actress Meg Ryan, his girlfriend at the time, had given him as a good-luck charm. While reporters place Courtney Love, Jodie Foster, Sharon Stone and Nicole Kidman on his list of romantic conquests, he would say that he needs a woman who is sure of herself and has a strong personality. His friends say that mature woman attract him. The two feminine planets that rule over romance, Venus and the Moon, are in discordant relationships with the rest of his horoscope. This reveals that Russell Crowe is a difficult partner, who cannot stand possessiveness and jealousness even though he himself is possessive. He requires his partner to be faithful without guaranteeing the same thing on his part. This is why he would not succeed with anything but a relationship founded on friendship. This is perhaps the reason for the end of his relationship with a jealous and possessive Scorpio, Meg Ryan, who had left her husband, Dennis Quaid. Perhaps the need to be friends with his partner is the reason why he married the love of his younger years, the Australian actress and singer Danielle Spencer, on April 7, 2003, the day of his birthday. Here again, nothing happened by chance. In fact, the north Node in transit touched his natal Venus, planet of love and ruler of his house of marriage (7th). At the same time, Jupiter traversed his house of home and house of love and children (4 th and 5th). However, in order for this marriage to last under the sign of aggressive Aries, Russell Crowe and Danielle Spencer must have lots of patience and tact. In particular on his part, in 2011 and 2012. At the moment, Russell Crowe tries not to mix his private life with his public life. He passes all of his free time on his farm in Australia, with family and friends. He would one day say about the chaotic interest that the media has in his private life: “Frankly, folks, I go to work, I do my job. I really concentrate, and if you go to the cinema, pay your money and have a good time. That’s the end of it, as far as I’m concerned.” The reason behind Russell Crowe’s success and the manner in which he was able to keep going for years lies in part in his aptitude to always learn something new about his art. He reckons that three factors determine whether or not an actor should accept a role in a film. The first is the director’s way of working, or the story that he must interpret and that must interest him. In second place, political considerations, and finally money. He says that for him, only the first factor needs be considered for him to accept a role. The numbers show that he is one of the best paid actors of the decade, earning 20 million dollars per film. The contradictions in his character are evident. Although he was born in New Zealand, he considers Australia his home. Like any true macho Arian, he is always ready to fight at bars. Only those who know him and his former girlfriends swear that behind it all, he is an incurable romantic. Burt Reynolds, his partner in the film Mystery, Alaska, would say: “There’s a fire inside of him, that burns all night long, all day long, all the time. And that may hurt people who don’t understand that kind of flame.”
